Notice: Fraudulent emails using my name and image
Posted October 14, 2026
Someone is sending emails using my name and eKamria’s name from a Gmail account that is not mine: anne.eKamria@gmail.com. They may use other addresses as well. (I've already reported it to Google and the FTC.)
These emails offer website maintenance and SEO packages, ask you to respond, and then ask for payment through a link. They can look convincing because the signature includes my photo and company information, but they are not from me and I have no connection to them.
How to tell if an email is really from me
Don’t rely on the signature or photo, since those can be copied. Check the sender’s address. My business emails come only from anne@eKamria.com or info@eKamria.com.
If you received one of these emails
- Don’t reply, click any links, or send payment.
- Forward it to me so I can report it.
- If you’ve already paid, contact your bank or credit card company right away to dispute the charge.
If you’re unsure whether a message is from me, forward it to me and I’ll confirm.
Thank you, and stay safe,
Anne Notarthomas, Owner
eKamria
