Terry Horst's first contact with us was to perform our Digital Review on the Maxian & Horst Landscape Architects and Landplanners website. At that time, they were midway through a website transition to a new WordPress site. The new site was not being professionally developed.
Our review took into account both the old website and the site that was in progress and as a result of that review, Maxian & Horst contracted with us to develop a new site using the Joomla Content Management System.
During the course of the development, Terry Horst acquired the firm and rebranded to Terry Horst Landscape Architecture, PC. We worked with them and the the branding company they selected to switch again to the new name and branding.
I purchased the Digital review special package from Ekamria in January of this year. I have always struggled with how to get our website organized and the digital review Anne prepared was thorough and easy to understand. I now have a road map to implement our Web presence.

GW Chapman Consulting contacted us originally about increasing traffic to their website. While the initial discussion was not intended to include a website overhaul, it was apparent that the current site was not representing the business as well as it could. The site had not had a significant refresh since its original launch and was missing much of the content and visual cues that most visitors to a website expect today. It also was not showcasing the positive recommendations the business receives through testimonials. Our first step was to redesign the WordPress website.

Insight Business Works president, Dr. Christine Allen, partnered with us to manage their existing WordPress website and provide technical support as needed. One of the reasons they chose us was because we are a local business and can meet one-on-one when necessary. While we are comfortable working with clients from a distance, local businesses are increasingly expressing a desire to move from a remote partner to a local partner.
Anne has taken over managing and updating our website as my long-time web designer was less available. She has been amazing! She has tremendous attention to detail. Tri-Delta Resource's first website used a primitive content management system. Integration with their Citrix portal was not clean, and various parts of the website either didn't work, or didn't look like they were part of the same site. This project also included setup of social media sites.
The East Woods Skate Plaza is a project of the Eastwood Neighborhood Association (ENA). During the almost decade from the beginning of the Skate Park Research Committee to just before the Grand Opening in June of 2014, the association had a website created and maintained by a number of different volunteers. Someone eventually moved the site into WordPress.
However, as with their other sites, they had difficulty keeping the site up-to-date and brought in eKamria to assist.
As all the dreams began to turn to reality, the committee began communicating more of the progress through the website. When it was time for the Grand Opening, they decided on a significant "refresh" of the Wordpress site.
Anne Notarthomas at eKamria did a phenomenal job on our website, promoting the opening of the East Woods Skate Plaza. She is creative, forward thinking, technically proficient, all with amazing turnaround time. Anne is a great writer. She creatively put into words our message. We asked Anne to update our site for the grand opening, but she was aware that we needed to be ready for the day after the opening. Google analytics shows by the continued new and returning visits how effective Anne’s design is. We also get monthly reports that the website has been backed up and all software updates have been applied. I highly recommend eKamria’s service.

Nader Maroun approached eKamria initially with a need for a website for his re-election campaign for Syracuse City Common Councilor. He needed a short turnaround time because his first fundraiser was right around the corner and he wanted to accept RSVPs for the event and donations from the website.
With that deadline met, and his election won, it was easy to transform the Joomla! Content Management website to a general information site for his City Council work.
The campaign used the branding and concepts designed by eKamria for the website for its print materials.
What started as a basic idea to get the word out about who I am as a City Councilor, my involvement in the community and to publicize upcoming events evolved into a sophisticated website incorporating graphics and text beyond my expectations. Working with AFICA's owner has been an interesting and rewarding experience. She approached eKamria about providing a new website for her evolving business of skin and hair care products. Her earlier website was more focused on her salon and the services provided there. Her business model was moving toward manufacturing and selling her products without a storefront.
It took a number of years for her to get to the point she was ready to launch her website -- and we waited with her -- meeting periodically for updates on her progress. Her attention to detail and planning has always been impressive.
